In less than 3 weeks one of the most important religious events in the world will take place in Krakow, Poland. This city will be hosting the World Youth Day 2016 (WYD) from July 25th till July 31st.

The WYD is a worldwide encounter with the actual Pope Francisco; this event takes place every 3 years in a different country. The event is mainly for people between 16 and 35 years old, but all the people are welcome to attend to it.

According to the program the Pope Francisco will arrive on the afternoon of Thursday 28th of July; but if you will travel to Krakow before or after this date there will be a lot of activities to do in Krakow during this week.

Krakow will receive millions of tourists from all over the world, and this is why some security procedures have been implemented in Poland; that is why Poland is temporarily outside of the Schengen Zone from July 4th till August 2nd, which means that there will be controls at all the borders when entering or leaving Poland. You must take with you your passport and National ID to avoid any problem.

If you are in Poland I recommend you to attend to this event, there will be a lot of people, great weather, people from different cultures, dozens of languages interacting together. With no doubt is a unique opportunity to live it in this amazing country.
