Summary of Role:
The Architect/Developer is responsible for design, development, and maintenance of the SAP Hybris Commerce platform at ACN. We are looking for a driven and self-directed individual to lead efforts to plan, build and rollout application support and governance functions. The SAP Hybris implementation at ACN is customized and integrates to key components in our architecture such as multiple MVNO BSS and fulfillment vendors. The successful candidate will ensure proper administration of the platform, support end-users, provide hands-on development & testing support for cross-functional delivery projects. We’re looking for someone who can wear multiple hats while formulating a strategy & roadmap to improve ACNs e-commerce capabilities globally.
Main responsibilities:
– Design, develop and deploy solutions on the Hybris Commerce platform
– Take part in development activities (e.g. review existing solutions, architecture and detailed designs and recommend improvements, migrate updates, support testing and manage defect triage, resolution and remediation)
– Complete application development by coordinating requirements, schedules and needed activities
– Mentor and coach IT team members and cooperate with offshore development and other related or dependent application delivery teams
– Provide support and guidance in the context of solution design and development
– Perform analysis of Hybris e-commerce tools, evaluate opportunities for future use of SAP Hybris, assist in determining and performing SAP Hybris upgrade strategy
– Create technical documentation to support implementation designs and architecture.
Requirements:
– Computer Science degree
– At least 3 years of experience working with SAP Hybris Commerce (as an Architect and/or Developer)
– At least 5 years of experience of developing Java applications
– Experience with UML, enterprise Java patterns, and frameworks like Spring, Struts, and Hibernate
– Experience with Single Page Architecture using tools like Angular JS
– Experience with 5.x and 6.x versions with the B2C and Telco accelerators
– Experience using jQuery, AJAX, XHTML, XML, JSON
– Knowledge of source control tools like GitHub/Stash and build/CI tools like Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins/Hudson
– Experience with Agile SCRUM development methodology
– Hybris certifications would be an asset, but is not required
– Telecom industry experience with integration with wireless providers and MVNEs is a plus
– Experience in synchronizing product definition and catalog between Hybris Commerce and other enterprise systems
– Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting different schedules and deadlines
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical writing and documentation skills.
